We’re about to try something very new. After some consultation with our regular Mums, Cheeky Chimps Music are going to put on a regular class in a local old people’s home. The residents will be present at the sessions watching from the periphery as the usual fun and games take place. Everyone we’ve asked has been very positive and we think it could enrich the lives of the children, their parents and the old folk alike.
We’ve partnered with Colne View, a residential home in Halstead and our sessions will be held on Fridays at 1:30pm in the lounge pictured. The home is beautiful.
Classes will begin on Friday 21st September 2012 and our first class will be FREE for everyone. Members of staff will be present with the residents during the sessions and we hope everyone will have a good time.
